Director of Music for Traditional Worship

Alice Ann Johnson joined our staff as Director of Music for Traditional Worship in June 2021. Alice Ann grew up in Lenoir, NC where she studied piano, voice, organ, and played oboe in the Lenoir High School Band. She earned the Bachelor of Music in Music Education and Master of Music in Choral Conducting from UNC-Greensboro. She has taught middle school music in Guilford County and led the music ministry in several local churches including First Christian Church. West Market Street UMC, and Rehobeth Church. Alice Ann was married to Al Johnson, a longtime member of Rehobeth who passed away in 2018. Their children, Edie and Andy, grew up in this church. She is looking forward to making music with friends at Rehobeth Church to the Glory of God!
